Alternate Day Fasting
Alternate day fasting is another method of Intermittent Fasting. This is also referred to as fasting every other day.
This requires that the person carries out a 24 hour fast every other day.
For example, a person would eat from 6pm one day until 6pm the next day, and then go without food until 6pm on the following day.
So every 24 hours of eating would be followed by 24 hours of fasting.
Of course this will work for weight loss for anyone who is able to stick to it for any significant period of time, but like all weight loss methods (all employing calorie restriction), they are doomed to fail in the long term, as how long can you keep it up? Are you going to do this for the rest of your life?

Fasting is not necessary for weight loss if someone is following a low fat high carbohydrate raw vegan diet.
A healthy low fat Raw Food Diet Plan and lots of exercise will quickly and easily enable you to reach all your goals.
No need to eat according to a clock or a calendar. No need for all this deprivation. In fact, it is usually counter-productive and results in you becoming fatter than ever.
I tried alternate day fasting, along with intermittent fasting, and various other things to try and lose weight and all I ended up with was a disordered relationship with food and my body and 40 extra pounds of fat.
So my advice is forget the fasting and start eating healthy and exercising - TODAY!
