Dr Bronners SoapI have been using Dr Bronners soap as a body soap for a while. I knew it was vegan, natural and organic and that made me very happy! However, I recently discovered that it has a RANGE of uses! It is named MAGIC Soap for a reason! This stuff is magic! You can wash your hair with it, brush your teeth with it, wash your dishes, your clothes and your vegetables with it! I am beyond amazed. Dr Bronners Soap As Shampoo? As you may know, I was 'No Poo' for many months. I decided to give the Dr Bronners a try and see how it measured up, since it is so natural and organic, I didn't think it would be problematic. I just lathered a little of the bar on my hands and scrubbed the soap suds through my hair. It felt great. It doesn’t feel like shampoo, which is the best thing about it. However, it did leave a bit of an oily residue on my hair, so I actually don't recommend it very highly as a shampoo. Dr Bronners Soap As Toothpaste You can use this as a toothpaste too. I tried it and it works great. It foams up and has a fairly neutral taste. However, it is still a SOAPY taste, so I am not totally convinced. I did find it incredibly gentle on the teeth though, so that is a bonus, and it did leave my teeth very clean! Dr Bronners as Shaving Cream You can also use this as a shaving cream, Jaye tried it and it worked really well. However, he will probably still use his lemon and cucumber blend as he just loves this as a shaving cream. I have been using Dr Bronners to shave for months now, and it works fabulously. Dr Bronners is also available in liquid form, which you can use as dishwashing detergent or to wash your clothes. How wonderful to have one product for so many uses. It is also so great to understand all the ingredients in a product like this. The ingredients in the Almond soap are: Saponified Organic Coconut, Organic Palm and Organic Olive Oils (with retained glycerin), Water, Hemp Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Natural Bitter Almond Fragrance, Salt, Citric Acid, Vitamin E. And best of all, they're 100% vegan!
