Easy Smoothie Recipe - Tropical Passion Ice Cream Shake

This easy smoothie recipe for a tropical passion ice cream shake is totally vegan and dairy free, but creamy to the extreme!
I like this frozen fruit smoothie recipe because it tastes like ice cream, and looks like ice cream, yet all it contains is delicious fresh fruit and a dash of almond milk.
If you don't have almond milk on hand you can substitute coconut water instead. In the pictures of me holding the smoothie, I am holding the coconut water version, and in the pictures of the smoothie by itself, that is the creamier almond milk version.
If you would like to make some almond milk for the super creamy version then here is the recipe for almond milk.
Almond Milk
1x cup almonds
Soak these almonds in fresh water for 6 hours. Pour off the water and then put the nuts into your blender with 2 cups of fresh water and blend.
Pour this milk into a fine sieve and separate the almond pulp from the almond milk and voila, you have almond milk.
You can use the pulp for other desserts, or just eat it with some chopped fruit, it's like muesli.

Ingredients: Tropical Passion Ice Cream Shake
1/2 cup almond milk
4x bananas (previously peeled, broken into quarters and frozen)
5x Passion Fruits (also called Granadillas)
Easy Smoothie Recipe: Method:
Put the almond milk into the blender, then scoop out the passion fruits and add to the blender and blend. Gradually add the frozen bananas and blend until very thick and creamy.
Serves 1 - 2
