Fruit Desserts - Oranges With Brazil Nut Custard

Fruit Desserts - Oranges and brazil nut custard

Fruit desserts such as this are very easily digested, as citrus combines well with nuts. This is also a very simple dish, using only three ingredients, which also makes it easier on your digestion.

Ingredients

10x oranges
10x brazil nuts
1x tsp cacao powder

Method

Peel and slice 8 of the oranges into half moon shapes and layer in a pie tray. Blend the remaining 2 peeled oranges with 8 brazil nuts and a teaspoon of cacao powder.

Pour this custard over the oranges in the pie tray. Break the remaining 2 brazil nuts into pieces and sprinkle as a topping, along with a tiny bit of cacao powder.

Due to the bitter dark chocolate flavor of the cacao and the slightly bitter flavor of the brazil nuts, this isn't a super sweet dessert. If you wanted to make it a little sweeter, you could add a couple of dates to the custard mix and blend.
