Fruit Salad Recipe - Banana Brazil Nut Fruit Salad

This fruit salad recipe is enormously simple, as well as quick and easy to prepare.

Bananas are a sweet fruit and mangoes are sub acid fruits. Sub acid fruits and sweet fruits combine well together.

As a general rule, sweet fruits combine well with other sweet fruits or sub acid fruits. Acid fruits, such as pineapple, citrus etc, combine with other acid fruits or sub acid fruits but not sweet fruits.

Brazil nuts are a fantastic source of selenium, which is a trace mineral required by the body in very small amounts. Just one brazil nut will provide enough selenium to meet the recommended daily allowance.
