Weighed in at 123.2 this morning so total weight loss for this raw food diet trial so far is 1.8 pounds.
I slept in this morning and had NO energy when I got up. So I went back to bed for a little while. When I got up again a couple of hours later, I felt great.
Hair
We went to the beach and had a swim and I vigorously rubbed my hair in the sea. When we got home I washed the salt out and put in a little conditioner and now it feels a little strange. It feels kind of clean, but not the kind of clean I’m used to.
I am really not too sure about this whole thing, in fact I’m kind of hanging on by a thread here, maybe I am too much of a glamour girl to be able to get rid of my products that easily!
Food
For breakfast I had a banana and date smoothie made with 4x bananas (480g) and 4x dates. For lunch I had a mango and banana fruit salad with 3x bananas (366g) chopped up with 1x mango (340g) and a sauce made by blending 100g blueberries with 1x mango (340g).
For dinner Jaye made an orange and red pepper soup by blending 3x oranges with 1.5 red peppers. Then he made another cauliflower couscous, and my portion contained half a head of cauliflower, 3x tomatoes, 1.5 stalks celery, half a mango and 2x small cucumbers. It was hugely filling and I am still stuffed!
Conclusions
I had some more flashes of irritability today and of course the lack of energy when I woke up this morning and the need for a LOT more sleep, which I had, so I am grateful that I had the chance to allow my body the rest it required. The irritability has just been in very short flashes, and easy to deal with.
