Raw Food Diet - 30 Day 'No Fat' Trial - Day 21

Today is day 21 of my raw food diet trial and I weighed in at 123.6 this morning. Total weight loss for this raw food diet trial is therefore back down to 1.4 pounds.

My stomach felt a bit weird today, but not sore. Just moments of feeling heavy and swollen and then it goes away again. I expect my period to start very soon.

Hair Despair

I wore my hair tied back and a bandanna today. A bit of a strange look for my highly suited and booted office, but what can I do? Anything is better than bad hair!

Exercise

Tonight I finally got around to the second Cindy Crawford workout from the Shape Your Body DVD that I downloaded. It started off with squats and lunges and leg swings and went on to biceps, triceps and shoulders which was very intense. Three sets of a variation of bicep curls, shoulder press, side lateral raises, front raises, reverse curls, tricep pushbacks and skull crushers, very fast paced! And that is followed by 2 sets of 200 sit ups!!!! I just did the first set of 200 and then I was finished. I stayed down there and just did some yoga instead. It was fun! I always enjoy exercising and always wonder why I ever miss a session. As soon as I get going I really enjoy myself. My heart rate was between 150 and 175.

Sleep

I have pretty much given up on trying to get up at 5am. Whether it's from the detox or whatever, it is just an impossibility. Instead of beating myself up, I am just going to be happy getting up at 6:30am for a while.

Food

I took a whole watermelon (2154g) to work with me, 4x bananas (440g) and a large serving of leftover peach and mango pie. I had more than enough to eat, I was totally satisfied and it was bleedin' marvellous. The picture is my very full cooler bag on my way out this morning.

For dinner I had a 4x banana (450g), 6x date and 40g blueberry smoothie. Then I had the leftover peach and mango pudding while watching an episode of season five of The Office. I absolutely LOVE that show. fruit smoothie

My totals for today were as follows: Calories 2180, Fat 8g, Carbohydrates 560.2g, Dietary Fiber 54.4g, Protein 30.7g, Sodium 39.5mg.

My percentage totals were 92% Carbohydrates, 5% Protein and 3% Fat.
