Raw Food Diet - 30 Day 'No Fat' Trial - Day 26

Day 26 of my raw food diet trial today and only four more days to go! I weighed in at 121.4 this morning, which brings my total weight loss for this raw food diet trial to 3.6 pounds. I am very pleased with this.

Period Pain

I definitely have my period though it is still enormously light. I had some mild period cramps this morning and at first was feeling happy as it was nothing compared to how it used to be. It was mild cramping and uncomfortable, a little bit sore now and then. However, nothing much really.

However, by late afternoon it had got much worse. My stomach got very swollen and sore. Still not nearly as bad as it used to be, a definite improvement, but painful nevertheless.

I’m not crying or screaming and that is something. The pain is mainly quite low level and then now and again reaches a high level. But it seems to go there very briefly, as opposed to the past when it would hit the high levels of pain for hours usually before backing off a bit, and it would hit those pain levels even with pain medicines.

So I can mark this raw food diet trial as having brought about a massive improvement in the symptoms of endometriosis.

Other detox symptoms

I have two pimples! One on my cheek and another that is growing under my nose. The one under my nose is one of those painful ones that are mainly under the skin and there is nothing you can do about them. Now I haven’t had a pimple in a very LONG time so this is definitely detox.

Exercise

I didn’t want to go to gym as the discomfort and slight pain of my stomach this morning made me unenthusiastic about lifting heavy weights, so we just went for a bike ride. My sister came over and we all went riding together. It was only a half an hours ride but it was at a vigorous pace.

Hair

I think I have good hair!!!

Food

I didn’t have breakfast until late today, and then shared a smoothie with my sister. My portion contained 1x orange and 3x bananas. It was so tasty that I made another one for lunch with 5x bananas and 2x oranges. Really yummy!!! I just blended up the oranges first and then dumped in the frozen bananas and it was SUPER thick and delicious. I have never tried orange with banana before, it was really awesome.

A little later on we had a soup with oranges, tomatoes and red peppers with celery croutons and cucumber noodles (3x oranges, 2x tomatoes, 1x red pepper, 1x stalk celery, 1x cucumber).

For dinner we had another soup, 3x oranges, 1x red pepper, 2x tomatoes, and 100g of baby spinach and rocket thrown in.

Conclusions

My totals for today were as follows: Calories 1637, Fat 7.2g, Carbohydrates 407.6g, Dietary Fiber 67.6g, Protein 32.2g, Sodium 158.9mg.

My percentage totals were as follows: Carbohydrate 90%, Protein 6% and Fat 4%.
