Raw Food Diet - 30 Day 'No Fat' Trial - Day 29
It's my second last day! Wow! This raw food diet trial has gone by faster than I expected! Weight My weight was up slightly this morning to 121.6 pounds. So that takes my total weight loss for this raw food diet trial down to 3.4 pounds. Pimple Head I have two pimples between my eyes, one on my cheek and one underneath my nose. Is this just detox? Or are my hormones a little confused after going cold turkey on the natural progesterone cream? I hope it is just detox actually, because that'll mean it's likely to clear up for good soon. If it's hormones I might be in for a bit more of a rocky ride. I was back at work today for my second last day at the office. My stomach was vaguely sore on and off but for the most part I am over it. Singing in the Rain It was raining today in Dubai. Rain in the UAE causes chaos. There is no drainage system on the roads. At least it doesn’t rain often. I was praying that my car wouldn’t break down. Many a poor Yaris or other little car gets bested in the rain. Thankfully my car is pretty high off the ground so it seems to do okay. So this is what I had to drive through today! These pictures were taken a few minutes away from our apartment.
FoodI took 3x very thick slices of pineapple (600g), 4x dates, 2x bananas (200g) and half a watermelon, blended (1550g) to work with me today.
For dinner I had a smoothie made with pineapple (300g) and 4x bananas (440g). Later on I had a big salad made with half a carrot, sprouts, 2x cucumbers, 2x tomatoes, 2x oranges and a dressing made with half a mango and 1x red pepper.
ExerciseI didn’t exercise today. However, I received my copy of Nutrition and Athletic Performance by Dr Douglas Graham and I'm really looking forward to reading that. I emailed my online personal trainer for a new gym weight-training program, as I will be able to hit the gym every morning from next week. If I get a chance tomorrow I will do the hectic Cindy workout. Conclusions My totals for today were as follows: Calories 1876, Fat 7.7g, Carbohydrates 476.7g, Dietary Fiber 54.8g, Protein 30.6g, Sodium 78.1mg. My percentage totals were: Carbohydrates 91%, Protein 5% and Fat 4%.
