Raw Food Diet List

 

A raw food diet list is helpful for a lot of people who don't really understand what raw foods are.

They find the idea of it confusing. They kind of think in terms of how they're currently eating and it just makes NO sense.

Raw meat? Potatoes? Squash? Rice? Why would anyone want to eat that?

While there are people who do eat animal products raw, this is in no way recommended.

Aside from the immense cruelty involved, the consumption of animal products is enormously damaging to our health, whether raw or cooked.

Raw Food Diet List - List of Alkaline Foods

Raw Vegan foods are alkaline in the body and disease cannot flourish in a body that is alkaline.

Animal products, cooked foods, alcohol, caffeine etc, all contribute to acidity in the body, and an acid environment is where sickness thrives.

Raw Food List - Raw Vegan Is Where It's At!

When you change your diet to a raw vegan diet, there is a complete shift in your mental paradigm about what constitutes a meal.

There is far more abundant variety in the raw food diet than you can possibly imagine, until you've tried it.

A Raw Vegan Diet consists of fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds

If you think about what you eat currently, it probably isn't that varied. Most people's diets are not. You probably have a few favorites that you recycle on a weekly basis.

Once you go completely raw or high raw you discover an abundance of fruits and vegetables that you had no idea even existed.

Raw Food Diet List

I am not going to try and list every raw food known to man, but have a look at a few of the raw foods that I am eating currently.

Grapes, Watermelon, Strawberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, Cherries, Figs, Dates, Oranges, Grapefruit, Mangoes, Papaya, Bananas, Pineapple, Jackfruit, Dragonfruit, Lychees, Melons, Apples, Clementines, Passion Fruit, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Peppers, Carrots, Mushrooms, Avocados, Lettuce, Spinach, Corn, Nuts, Seeds, Sprouts, Seaweed, Coconut.

I could go on and on. But as you can see, there are quite a lot of different things here. There are plenty more to choose from.

Of course there are endless combinations and different ways to eat these foods and some fabulous creations you can make if you feel like something gourmet!

List Of Raw Foods - Dehydrated Raw Foods

Dehydrated raw foods are foods that have been dehydrated at a low temperature for a number of hours.

As long as the temperature doesn't exceed 118 degrees, the food is still considered to be raw.

Most raw vegans do not dehydrate food above 105 degrees, and this perfectly mimics sun drying your food on a hot summers day.

It intensifies the flavors of certain foods (i.e. sundried tomatoes have such a strong delicious flavor), and also allows you to make certain foods that mimic cooked foods, like breads, crackers, pizza bases etc, made using a mixture of vegetables, nuts, seeds or sprouted grains.

Due to the reduced water content of dehydrated foods, these are far less healthful, and should be kept to a very small part of a healthy vegan raw food diet.

And, there is no need to get complicated with it if you don't want to!

The simplest and most effective way to make a raw food diet list is as follows:

Fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds!

There is immense beauty in simplicity!
