The Raw Food Lifestyle Ebook is an incredibly motivating and inspiring work.

This is a book that will be enjoyed by anyone who has an interest in improving themselves, not just raw foodists!

When I initially got my copy of this book I thought I was in for a read along the lines of: how to go raw; what to eat; recipes etc.

Not so.

This is primarily a personal development book. A book about becoming the best version of yourself in EVERY way.

Eating a low fat vegan and raw diet is just one of the factors that allow you to function at your best, and no more or less important than the other factors.

With a focus on taking full responsibility for every area of your life, realizing that YOU are in charge, and you are not a victim of anything, Andrew shows from his own life experience that no matter the challenges you may believe you were born with, you can be great.

Overcoming Depression

One of the focuses of the book is overcoming depression. Andrew himself overcame severe depression and discusses in depth how this can be done, without the need for drugs or years of therapy.

He discusses how, when we begin to meet our needs, physically, emotionally, socially, mentally and spiritually, then depression becomes a thing of the past. Andrew shows how the constant re-examination of a sad story, doesn’t in itself provide a way out of that story: “Reexamine your troubled childhood; talk about what's making you sad; why did your marriage end? - These are exercises that lead nowhere, or at least not out of your depression and malaise, which is the only thing that matters.”

With detailed advice and examples of how you can work your way out of depression, this book is an invaluable resource to anyone suffering with depression.

Having a family history of depression myself, and with my four siblings all having spent several years on anti-depressant medications, I found this section to be extremely informative and compelling. I believe this book to be an essential read for anyone who has suffered from or is currently suffering under the dark veil of depression and sadness.

Strategies for a better life and for thriving on a raw food lifestyle!

While reading this book I started to feel really excited. Excited to take some of these strategies and apply them to my own life. At different parts of the book I thought of various friends and family who would also gain much from reading it and made a note to recommend it.

This is a book that inspires you and makes you want to recommend it to everyone you know.

If you are looking for a focused 'how to' guide on what to eat and when and how to eat it, this isn't what you'll find in this book. However, there is still plenty of information about thriving on a raw diet, with interesting anecdotes about the author's own journey, as well as really great strategies for overcoming cooked food cravings and avoiding the see-sawing between raw and cooked food that most raw vegans experience in their first few years.

There are also excellent strategies for empowering yourself to the heights of what you can achieve and the heights of happiness and contentedness by knowing that you are doing what you came here to do: be awesome!

So, whether or not you currently eat, or want to eat, a raw diet, this book will have some amazing, profound insights for you, insights that lift you up and inspire while giving you a solid push in the right direction.

I am very impressed by this work, and really awed by the way these strategies have worked wonders in Andrew's own life. He is certainly someone who has got his act together in a major way, and I have enormous admiration for what he has accomplished. His story is an amazing testament to our individual power, the power to completely transform ourselves, to thrive, and thereby to change the world!
